Landhunt Scout (iOS)
The AR view shows 'AR-lite' instead of 'ARKit'. What's wrong?
ARKit world tracking isn't supported on this device or your ARWorldTrackingConfiguration check failed. Most iPhones from 2017 onwards (6S+) support real ARKit. If you're on the simulator, ARKit isn't available — try a physical device. The AR-lite fallback uses heading-projected cards instead of true 3D anchoring.
The slope map or room scan says 'LiDAR required'.
Both features need an iPhone with a LiDAR sensor — that's iPhone Pro 12 onwards (any "Pro" model from autumn 2020). The standard iPhone, Plus, and SE lines don't have LiDAR. The rest of the AR view (boundaries, massing, measure, sun path, photo capture) works on any ARKit-capable device.
Saved searches aren't firing alerts.
Saved-search matching runs whenever you open the AR view ("Around me") and we fetch fresh INSPIRE parcels for that location. Make sure the search has alerts toggled on (Settings → Field tools → Saved searches). Background alerts when the app is closed are on the roadmap and require a server-side cron we haven't shipped yet.
How does the AI assistant work?
The AI parcel assistant is powered by Claude (built by Anthropic). Your questions are sent through Landhunt's backend to Anthropic and the answer streams back live. There's nothing to set up — if you're signed into your Landhunt account, the assistant just works. Estimates are best-effort and not financial or legal advice; verify anything material with the local authority, HM Land Registry, or a solicitor.
My PDF site report is missing photos.
The PDF embeds remote URLs for site visit photos. If the device was offline when generating the report, the photo URLs may have loaded as broken images. Try again with a stable internet connection. AR captures live as local files and don't depend on network.
The map keeps loading, then shows nothing.
First check Settings → Field tools → Offline maps to confirm you've downloaded tiles for your area, or that you're online. If you've seen a Mapbox-token error in the dev console, the public token may have expired. Email us with the build number and we'll push a fixed build.
I denied a permission on first launch. Can I re-enable it?
Yes — open iOS Settings → Landhunt Scout, then toggle the relevant permission (Location, Camera, Microphone, Photos) back on. The app will pick up the change next time you open the affected screen. Some screens deep-link straight to Settings if a permission is currently denied.
Web platform
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your account dashboard, go to Settings → Billing, and click "Manage subscription". You'll be taken to Stripe's billing portal where you can cancel, change plan, or update payment details. Cancelling stops further charges and keeps your account active until the end of the current billing period.
Can I export my data?
Yes — under UK GDPR you have the right to data portability. Email support@landhunt.io from the address registered to your account and we'll send you a JSON export of your sites, buyers, visits, and search history within 30 days.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@landhunt.io from the address on the account. We'll permanently remove your data within 30 days, except for records we're legally required to retain (tax, payment) which are kept for the statutory period.
